Episode 44 The Incel Murderer

This week we are covering the Incel Murderer Elliot Rogers.

Elliot Rodger was a 22-year-old American college student who killed six people and injured fourteen others in a series of misogynistic terror attacks in Isla Vista, California, on May 23, 2014. Rodger was a self-described "incel", or "involuntarily celibate", who believed that he was entitled to sex with women but was denied it because he was not attractive enough. He was also deeply misogynistic and believed that women were inferior to men. Rodger's attacks were motivated by his hatred of women and his desire to punish them for what he perceived as their rejection of him. He also wanted to become famous and to inspire other incels to commit similar acts of violence. His attacks were a tragedy that resulted in the deaths of six innocent people, and they also raised awareness of the dangers of online radicalization and the incel community.
