Join us this week as we discuss Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370). The flight was a scheduled international passenger flight operated by Malaysia Airlines that disappeared on 8 March 2014 while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to its planned destination, Beijing Capital International Airport in China. The Boeing 777 was carrying 239 passengers and 12 crew members.
MH370 lost contact with air traffic control less than an hour after takeoff. The aircraft's transponder was switched off, and it deviated from its planned flight path, flying west over the Malay Peninsula and Andaman Sea. It was last detected by civilian radar over the Andaman Sea at 2:22am Malaysian time.
Grab yourself some pretzels and a coffee, with a little added bailey's (or some hair of the dog) to get you through the turbulance of this story.
